How to read C6, C7, and C8 finger numbness
Finger distribution is one clue, not a diagnosis. Thumb and index symptoms can overlap C6 and median nerve patterns; middle-finger symptoms can overlap C7; ring and little-finger symptoms can overlap C8 and the ulnar nerve.
